Terms and Conditions for Unavoid

Effective from: June 15, 2026

These Terms & Conditions set out the rules for using the Unavoid app. By installing or using the app, you accept these rules. If you don’t agree with them, don’t use the app.

1. Introduction

The Unavoid app is provided by Karol Piątek (an independent developer), referred to below as “we.” Contact: support@swiftyfriday.com.

2. What the App Is

Unavoid is a self-help tool that guides you through exercises based on cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure (CBT/ERP): it helps you plan an exercise, rate your tension on the SUDS scale (0-100), and record your own notes and progress. The app works fully offline, on your device.

3. Medical Disclaimer: This Is Not Treatment

Unavoid is a supportive and educational tool. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical or therapeutic services, and it does not replace therapy, diagnosis, or professional advice. Decide what goes into your protocol together with your treating therapist.

The app does not provide crisis intervention. If you are in danger or thinking about self-harm, call the emergency number 112 or the helpline 116 123 immediately.

4. Your Content and Data

All the entries you create belong to you and are stored locally on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You can export them at any time (text or PDF), regardless of your subscription status, and delete them in Settings. We make no claim to any rights in your content.

5. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Payments

The app may offer a free set of features and a paid subscription or one-time purchase that unlocks additional features. If you make a purchase, the following rules apply:

• The current price and billing period are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges the fee to your Apple ID account.
• You manage and cancel your subscription in your device Settings: Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• If we offer a free trial, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a paid subscription (in line with Apple’s rules).
• Purchases, payments, refunds, and restoring purchases are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. Restoring purchases is available in the app.

Your own data stays available to read and export even after the subscription expires. We don’t block access to your history.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its code, design, text, and graphics belong to the developer and are protected by law. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store terms. This does not apply to your own entries, which remain yours (point 4).

7. Permitted Use

By using the app, you agree that, in particular, you will not:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app beyond what the law permits;
• resell, rent, or redistribute the app;
• use the app in any way that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including that it will run uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular health outcomes. You use it at your own risk, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Karol Piątek is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages connected with the use of, or inability to use, the app. This point does not exclude or limit liability to the extent it cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including consumer protection rules.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when the app or the law changes. We will notify you of material changes by updating the content and the date at the top. Continued use of the app after the changes take effect means you accept them.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence.
