Privacy Policy for Unavoid
Effective from: June 15, 2026
Unavoid works fully offline. You don’t create an account, sign in, or connect to any server. We don’t collect any of your data. Everything you enter stays solely on your device and is never sent to us or to any third party.
1. Developer and Contact
Unavoid is made by Karol Piątek (an independent developer). For questions about privacy or how the app works, write to: support@swiftyfriday.com.
2. What Data the App Processes and Why
The app stores the data you enter yourself so you can track your own work. Everything is kept locally on your device and never leaves it:
- Practice entries: tension ratings on the SUDS scale (0-100), text notes (descriptions of the situation, thoughts, safety behaviors), the work topics you choose, and the dates and durations of your exercises.
- Settings: chosen practices, the anxiety scale, reminder times.
The app does not ask for or process your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
3. No Tracking, Analytics, or Third-Party Services
We don’t use analytics, tracking tools, ads, or external SDKs that would collect data about you. The app contains no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no tracking pixels, and no cookies. We don’t build a profile of you and we don’t share data with anyone, because we don’t receive any.
4. Notifications, Sharing, and Export
- Reminders are fully local. They are scheduled by iOS on your device, with no push server.
- Export and sharing happen only on your initiative. When you use the export feature (text or PDF), you decide who receives the document (for example, your therapist). We don’t act as an intermediary and we don’t see the content you share.
5. Purchases and Financial Data
If the app offers a subscription or in-app purchase, the transaction is handled solely by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Payment data (such as card details) is processed by Apple, not by us. From Apple we receive only aggregate sales information that does not identify you. Apple’s handling of data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
6. Health Data and Minors
Your entries may relate to your mental health. That is exactly why they stay solely on your device and never reach us. We recommend enabling your device’s system lock (Face ID or a passcode); since iOS 18 you can also natively lock access to the app itself.
The app is not directed at children and is intended for adults who use it as support for therapy.
7. Your Rights: GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California)
Because we don’t collect or receive your personal data, we don’t store anything about you on our side, and we have nothing to share, sell, or delete at your request. You exercise your rights directly on your device:
- Access and review: all data is visible in the app.
- Portability: you can export it at any time (text or PDF).
- Deletion: use Settings → “Delete all entries” or remove the app from your device; this permanently erases all data.
We don’t sell or share personal information within the meaning of CCPA/CPRA. We don’t collect it.
8. Security, Retention, and Changes
Your data is protected by the iOS app sandbox and by your device’s security. We keep it for as long as you keep it yourself, until you delete it. We will notify you of material changes to this policy by updating its content and the date at the top of the document.
Unavoid is a supportive tool; it does not replace therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. The rules of use are described in the Terms & Conditions.
